Hotel Sustainbility Basics

Our Commitment to Greater Sustainability

Our commitment to greater sustainability is confirmed by the Hotel Sustainability Basics Certificate. This certification demonstrates that we meet important international sustainability standards and that sustainability is firmly embedded in our everyday hotel operations.

For us, this certification is an important step on our journey towards more responsible hotel operations. It confirms that we are actively addressing issues such as saving energy and water, reducing waste, sustainable procurement and resource-efficient processes.

At the same time, we do not see sustainability as a one-off measure, but as a continuous process. We regularly review where we can further improve our operations, use resources more consciously and integrate new sustainable solutions into our daily hotel activities.

What the Certification Means to Us

Responsible Use of Resources
We use energy, water and materials as consciously as possible and continuously work to reduce our consumption step by step.

Sustainability in Everyday Hotel Operations
Many measures are already firmly integrated into our daily processes – from LED lighting and water-saving technology to waste separation, digital invoices and regional procurement.

Continuous Improvement
The certification motivates us to regularly review our existing measures and implement further improvements.

Maintaining Comfort and Quality
For us, sustainability does not mean compromising on hospitality, comfort or service quality. Rather, we want to demonstrate that an enjoyable hotel stay and the responsible use of resources can go hand in hand.

Our Goal

We want to take responsibility – for our guests, our region and future generations of travellers. For us, the certification is both confirmation and motivation to continue consistently on our path towards greater sustainability.
